Rumford pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle late Monday

Mark McCollough, 66, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Petaluma Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle Last Tuesday

A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle last Tuesday on North McDowell Boulevard in Petaluma. The Press Democrat reports the crash occurred around 7:50 p.m, and the victim was taken to a local hospital, however the extent of their injuries is not yet known. Police say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Pedestrian, 66, killed in Rumford crash

Police said the investigation is ongoing, but there is currently insufficient evidence to support criminal charges or determine exactly how the crash occurred.
