What appeared to be a shootout between two men on Weyl Street led to an officer firing shots and shooting one of the involved men.

Weyl Street Shots Fired

Rochester, NY- A little after 7pm, on 8/14/25 , Officers were on Weyl Street regarding a call for a stolen vehicle. Around 7:45pm, while officers were still working on the initial call, two males ran across Weyl Street with shots being fired amongst them.
