Royal Canadian Legion Marks 100 Years

2026 marks the 100 year anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion, which saw official incorporation by a special act of parliament on July 17, 1926. Tim Hinds, president of the Royal Canadian Legion Arras Branch 59 in Antigonish , said the Great War Veterans Association started an Antigonish branch in May of 1918.
