- Public records indicate CAIR-CA received more than $7.2 million for an Afghan legal aid project, yet allegedly redirected $3.6 million to itself while failing to report millions in government grants on 2022 and 2023 IRS filings.
- Beyond the letter, Roy recently introduced legislation to designate CAIR as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist Organization, which would revoke its tax-exempt status and prohibit federal interactions.
