Roughriders have shot to regain first place Friday against Elks
SHERWOOD NO. 159, SASKATCHEWAN, JUL 25 – The Roughriders aim to improve on their 5-1 record as the Elks try to recover from a 1-4 start in a crucial West Division matchup, officials said.
- The Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Edmonton Elks 21-18 at Mosaic Stadium on Friday, July 26, 2025.
- Saskatchewan looked to maintain its lead atop the West Division standings, while Edmonton aimed to bounce back from a 1-5 start following a week off.
- The Riders' defence recorded eight sacks, including two each by Johnson, Carney, and Ray, limiting Edmonton to four yards over three possessions.
