Roseburg Mayor Larry Rich announces he will not seek reelection

Roseburg Mayor Larry Rich first assumed the role in 1998. Now, after 28 years serving in it, he has announced he will not run for another term after the current one ends on December 31, 2026.

Roseburg mayor stepping down after 28 years in office

Rich, who has been mayor since 1998, notified City staff and the Roseburg City Council Tuesday that he believes the conclusion of his current term is the right time to step aside. He will be 71 when his term ends.
