Ronald “Ron” S. Porch, 89, of Butler passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026. He was born in Butler on January 21, 1937, to the late Ronald and Mary (Gerg) Porch. Ron attended Butler Area High School and then furthered his education at St. Vincent College. He honorably served in the U. S. Navy from 1956-1960, in Spain, Italy, Lebanon and Panama, on the USS Oglethorpe. Ron worked at Armco Steel for 35 years. He was known for his kind heart and his …
