Rome Man Jailed After Refusing to be Handcuffed in Courtroom

An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Ricky Lee Selman, 29 of Rome, is facing new charges this week after reports said he obstructed deputies in a courtroom. Reports said that Selman refused to allow deputies to handcuff him and remove him from the courtroom. Deputies state that Selman had to be physically restrained in order to handcuff him.
