Eight years ago, on January 4, 2017, the Romanian Orthodox parish of Cergy purchased the Roman Catholic church of Saint Nicholas, located in the French commune of Auvers-sur-Oise. The town is famous because Vincent Van Gogh painted some of his paintings here and was also buried here.
