The European Commission announced Wednesday the allocation of EUR 14.3 million for Romania, a sum from the EU Solidarity Fund. These non-reimbursable funds are intended to partially cover the major expenditure generated by the severe floods that hit the country during 2025.
The European Commission will grant Romania EUR 14.3 million from the European Union Solidarity Fund to support the recovery after the severe floods of 2025. A significant part of the damage has been recorded in Salina Praid.
The sum will help the regions affected by the floods of 2025 to cover some of the costs of emergency and recovery operations.
