Romania has not sent the European Commission (EC) the Annual Progress Report on budgetary deficit reduction, which should be sent by 30 April as part of the implementation of the 7-year tax plan, to the European Commission for Benefit.ro, quoted by news.ro. Romania remains the only Member State with budgetary problems that has not sent this report.

PNRR, Close to Being Extended by 18 Months for Ongoing Projects. Romania Risks Losing 10 Billion Euros
Romania could receive European funding for schools, hospitals and highways that will not be completed by the deadline of August 31, 2026. The European Parliament has asked the Commission to extend the PNRR by 18 months for ongoing projects. If the initiative is not approved, we risk losing 10 billion euros.
