In the hardest period for Romanians, the BNR is issuing a firm warning: the decline in consumption could plunge us into crisis if the state does not make massive investments to cover the hole. The Governor of the National Bank of Romania, Mugur Isárescu, has today put an extensive diagnosis of the economy and suggested a number of medicines. “The consumption of the population in decline is severe”, said Isárascu, describing a country already common: “lower exits in the city, less purchases of clothing articles, less holidays, less important purchases (...) is a major decline”.
