Rolpa. Ten people have died after a landslide buried their houses and sheds in Kotalbara, Thabang Rural Municipality-5, Rolpa, following incessant rains, while only eight have been identified. RSP expresses deep grief over human loss in Rolpa disaster
RSP General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya issued a press release, drawing government's attention towards urgency of search for the missing persons and effective treatment to the injured ones. Immediate rescue, relief and treatment for free of cost are imperative, Acharya reminded the government, adding that it was equally necessary to identify settlements at risk and immediate relocation.
