McDavid, Poulin Both Donate Jerseys as Part of Great Canadian Jersey Campaign

On Jan. 05, 2026, Rogers launched The Great Canadian Jersey with Connor McDavid and Marie-Philip Poulin kicking off donations in Edmonton and Montreal; Canadians can drop off jerseys until Jan. 15.
As part of the This Is Our Game campaign, Rogers says the drive celebrates hockey's deep roots and national pride by collecting used jerseys for a unifying project.
Donors can also enter to win the Ultimate VIP Hockey Road Trip to any Canadian NHL team away game during the 2025-26 NHL regular season; details are at Rogers.com/TheGreatCanadianJersey.
Donors' jersey pieces will be cut and stitched into patchwork sweaters, revealed later this month in a national advertising campaign.
Timed to rally fans ahead of the Winter Olympics, the drive follows recent Olympic-team selections including McDavid's naming and Poulin's virtual lock for Milano Cortina, Italy.
