Rockport approves land use amendments, says no to statewide Question 1, yes to Question 2

Rockport voters, 1,650 of them, turned out at the polls, which were open at the Rockport Public Library, and cast ballots on two state referendum questions and five municipal ordinance amendments. The amendments all passed, and Rockport voted overwhelmingly against statewide Question 1, which proposed changing absentee ballot rules, and voted overwhelmingly in favor of new dangerous weapons regulations.
