Rock N Roll Circus Returns with Its Biggest and Boldest Edition Yet
The expanded four-day event will feature around 40 live artists and 40 circus acts, plus a new GA+ area and upgraded VIP offering.
- Rock N Roll Circus returns to Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30, 2026, featuring around 40 live artists and 40 circus performers alongside headliners The Kooks, The Streets, Wunderhorse, Richard Ashcroft and Milburn.
- Festival Director Ali O'Reilly said: "Sheffield has played a huge part in the Rock N Roll Circus story and every year the city pushes us to think bigger," highlighting the event's expansion with upgraded VIP offerings and new GA+ area.
- Thursday opens with The Kooks celebrating their 20th anniversary of Inside In / Inside Out joined by Milburn, Friday features The Streets performing A Grand Don't Come For Free in full, while Wunderhorse headline Saturday and Richard Ashcroft closes Sunday with The Fratellis and Cast.
- Beneath the festival's iconic Big Top, audiences experience headline performances combining arena energy with theatre intimacy, while a life-sized mechanical elephant roams the site alongside more than 40 circus performers including aerialists, acrobats and fire performers.
- The Discovery Stage platforms emerging artists like We Ran, Heidi Curtis, Goo, Sundress, Tidetied and Sonni Mills, while Spanish Horses and Villanelle showcase how British guitar music evolves through new generations, complemented by food from Yorkshire's independent traders including Yorkshire Burrito and Unit Burger.
