Nancy Wilson's Stolen Custom-Built Telecaster Guitar Was Recovered by Police in New Jersey

- After reviewing surveillance footage, police identified 57-year-old Garfield Bennett from Pleasantville as the suspect and utilized automated license plate technology to locate the vehicle involved in the stolen guitar case.
- The guitar, a custom-made purple sparkle Telecaster specially made for Nancy Wilson, was voluntarily surrendered by a woman who bought it from Bennett, while a 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin remains missing.
- Chief James A. Sarkos noted that thanks to modern technology combined with the diligent efforts of detectives and patrol officers, one of the stolen instruments was rapidly recovered.
- With the guitar returned to Hard Rock Atlantic City for Heart, police continue investigating the mandolin's whereabouts and offer a reward for its no-questions-asked return.
