Robinhood (HOOD) is investing in crypto trading platform Talos at $1.5 billion valuation

- On Jan. 29, 2026, Robinhood Markets invested in Talos as part of a $45M Series B extension, raising the round to $150 million and valuing the company at about $1.5 billion, the company said.
- Talos has grown rapidly, roughly doubling revenues and client numbers each year, serving hundreds of institutional clients across roughly 35 countries and expanding through acquisitions including Coin Metrics.
- New and returning investors joined the extended round, including Sony Innovation Fund, IMC, QCP, Karatage, a16z crypto, BNY and Fidelity Investments, with part settled using stablecoins.
- Proceeds will be used to expand Talos' product suite across execution, risk and settlement tools, while Johann Kerbrat said the tie-up will deepen liquidity and add features for Robinhood Crypto customers.
- Asset managers using Talos represent about $21 trillion in assets, underscoring institutional scale, as Talos launched an RFQ platform with BlackRock's Aladdin platform, the company said.
