Roads closed as crews respond to Pawleys Island house fire

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Emergency crews are responding Friday to a Pawleys Island house fire. Officials with the Pawleys Island Police Department said the fire was at a home near 3rd Street and Myrtle Avenue. Midway Fire and Rescue is on the scene. Police said Myrtle Avenue was closed between 2nd and 3rd Street and that Atlantic Avenue was down to one lane. People are asked to avoid the area.
