From May 1, 2027, every car traveling through Belgium would be required to have a road vignette. This is evident from plans by the cabinet of Flemish Budget Minister Ben Weyts (N-VA). “Foreigners who use our roads must contribute to the investments in our roads,” Weyts told VTM NIEUWS.
Belgium is introducing one-day, ten-day, two-month and annual digital vignettes.
From May 1 next year, Belgians and foreigners will need a road vignette to drive on motorways and regional roads in our country. That is provided the Council of Ministers gives the green light for it today. What do we already know about the vignette?
