Fire erupts in housing complex

Emergency services are responding to a fire at a Northumberland County Housing Corporation complex. A post to the County’s social media accounts says the fire started in an apartment complex at 8 King Street, West in Colborne early this morning. Heads up for those in the western portion of our listening area, a reported structure fire has closed a section of road in Colborne. OPP Communications posted Friday morning that King St. West is closed approaching Toronto St. and King St. East due to the blaze.
