RMWB councillors get raises next term, will remain part-time

The next council for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) will get raises, although the mayor’s salary won’t change. A final motion from Councillor Shafiq Dogar to make council full-time, however, failed at a Thursday meeting after months of hinting he would resurrect the idea.
