Riverside to rename a portion of Lime Street after late fire Capt. Tim Strack

A portion of Lime Street in downtown Riverside is being renamed Captain Tim Strack Parkway. The ceremonial naming of the street, located between Third and 14th streets, will not affect mailing addresses, according to the city. Strack died in April 2023, and the renaming was proposed by Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson and Riverside City Councilmember Philip Falcone to honor Strack for his service to the city.
