(Des Moines) Rita Hart will lead the Iowa Democratic Party once again. On Saturday, Hart was elected with an overwhelming majority to serve her second term as the IDP chair. She received 38 out of the 49 possible votes and will hold the position for another four years. Hart also introduced her plan to the party, which hopes to build a foundation that helps the party make gains in politics over the next couple of years.
