'RISING' from the BANK

It was a late October afternoon — a bluebird sky painted overhead. A forked caudal fin curved up into a body armored with hues of red, green, white and brown.

'Rising' from the bank: Sculptor welds 11-foot rainbow trout for Stockman's new location in Helena

“Bow Rising,” an 11-foot rainbow trout sculpture by Erin Thormodsgard, is Helena’s newest addition to its menagerie of public art. The sculpture is on the south side of Stockman Bank at 1435 Vandelay Ave.
