The expansive baseball complex just off Mr. Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach has welcomed thousands of ballplayers and their families for 20 years. The facility was started by Baltimore Orioles legend Cal Ripken, Jr. and his family, modeled after a complex they had started in Aberdeen, Maryland. Since it opened in June of 2006, the Ripken Experience has been the baseball destination for players of all ages from under 10 to college.
