Rijswijk no longer wants regular asylum accommodation within its municipal boundaries as of May 2027. The existing asylum seekers' center on Lange Kleiweg will close when the contract with the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers expires. The new municipal administration is not renewing that agreement. Nor is a search being conducted for another location, reports the AD.
