Bang Bang said the colorful abstract ink was designed by her children and placed on her left upper leg.
- On May 8, Rihanna received a new tattoo on the back of her left upper leg, which celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang, known as Keith McCurdy, said was "Designed by her babies."
- The colorful, abstract scribble art features purple, red, yellow, green, and blue ink, reflecting the artistic streak of her three children: Rza, 3, Riot, 2, and Rocki Irish, 7 months.
- Keith McCurdy documented the session on Instagram; he has previously created at least nine of the pop star's other tattoos, including her "Rebelle fleur" neck design.
- Rihanna now has around 25 known tattoos, ranging from small designs to the Egyptian Goddess Isis across her chest, a memorial to her grandmother Dolly.
- This ink follows her appearance at the Met Gala, where she showcased a Margiela couture gown and "Living sculpture" hair; she shared videos of the tattooing process shortly after.
