The Assembly of the Republic approved this Wednesday, in a final overall vote, a new decree that amends the Penal Code and introduces the possibility of a judge applying the loss of nationality as an accessory penalty. The proposal was approved with 151 votes in favor (PSD, Chega, IL and CDS-PP) and 65 votes against (PS, Livre, PCP, [...])

PSD, Chega, IL and CDS-PP today approved, in a final overall vote, a new decree amending the Penal Code that provides for the possibility of a judge applying the loss of nationality as an accessory penalty. 151 deputies voted in favor (PSD, Chega, IL and CDS-PP), against 65 (PS, Livre, PCP, BE, JPP and PAN), out of a total of 216 deputies present, exceeding the required mark of an absolute majority (116), necessary because it is an organic law.…
