Ricky Martin, Brazilian DJ Pedro Sampaio to Play Halftime Show in Rio
The performance is the second of a record seven halftime shows in the NFL's 2026 International Games, presented by American Express.

- Tim Tubito, NFL senior director of global game presentation, stated the league is embracing the cultural influence of Latin music, noting that Martin and Sampaio each hold unique connections with fans across Brazil and Latin America.
- Martin, who has sold more than 95 million albums, called the event "incredibly exciting," while Sampaio said performing at Maracana Stadium is "something I'll carry with me for the rest of my life."
- American Express will present the halftime show, the second of seven scheduled during the NFL's 2026 International Games, which span seven countries and four continents this season.
- Broadcast live in Brazil on Globo, the game follows the previously confirmed Jonas Brothers performance at the NFL Melbourne Game on Sept. 10, marking the first-ever NFL game held in Australia.
