Rick A. Meadows, age 63, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away July 27th, 2026. Rick was the son of Charles and Marcella (Bennett) Meadows, born in Maysville, KY on May 9, 1963. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and employees. He was a proud Army veteran of six years who rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his time in the Army he and his brother, Jeff, founded Meadows Brothers Custom Flooring in 1993. In 2000 they merged with Levensteins. Throughout his careers he proved himself to be the epitome of a servant leader. He was a loving papaw and father who adored his grandchildren and family, loved all things Disney, and a good samaritan whose generosity knew no bounds. He is survived by his son Benjamin (Kaitlynn) Meadows and grandchildren Rylee and Adelaide, and his son Jeremy Meadows, all of Greensburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Marcella, his brother Chuck Meadows, his brother-in-law Bob Purvis, and his nephew Robbie Purvis. A visitation/celebration of life for family and friends will be held on August 4, 2026, from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Knights of St. John Hall in Greensburg. A committal service with military honors will take place at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana commencing at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, Rick has kindly requested donations be made to his grandchildren’s college fund which can be coordinated through Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.
