Richard (Dick) Thomas Mayer, Jr., age 81, of Athens, GA died on June 16, 2026. He was the son of the late Richard Thomas Mayer, Sr. and Lucy Larue Walters (maiden name Daniels, formerly Mayer). He attended the University of Georgia and earned a B.S. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Entomology.
