Prices for basic grains in North Korea have fallen by as much as 16 percent, reports Daily NK. However, the average salary in Kim Jong-un's country, which ranges from 5,000 to 10,000 won (approx. PLN 21–42), can still buy only over 2 kg of corn or a kilogram of rice. North Korea regularly has a shortage of about 1 million tons of grain.
