RHOP’s Wendy Osefo Opens Up About the ‘Darkest Time’ in Her Marriage to Eddie During Legal Scandal
The sheriff's office recovered 15 items previously reported stolen in a $200,000 burglary, leading to insurance fraud charges against the couple, officials said.
On the season 11 premiere of The Real Housewives of Potomac, which aired Sunday, October 11, Wendy Osefo described the ongoing fraud case as the 'darkest time' in her marriage to husband Eddie Osefo.
The couple faces charges of insurance fraud and conspiracy after reporting a burglary at their Finksburg, Maryland, home in April 2024, during which more than $200,000 in items were allegedly stolen.
Wendy revealed she struggled to communicate with Eddie, stating, 'I had moments where I didn't even want to talk to you,' while Eddie described their current focus as 'rebuilding trust.'
Both defendants have denied any wrongdoing in the pending criminal case, with a joint trial scheduled for January 25–29, 2027, in the Carroll County Circuit Court.
Amid the professional and personal upheaval, Wendy has relied on support from costars Stacey Rusch and Tia Glover, emphasizing that she and her husband have not been convicted of any crimes.
