Rhode Island DCYF discloses death of two-month-old child from maltreatment

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families has disclosed the death of a two-month-old child. The DCYF investigation determined that the death was caused by maltreatment. The incident occurred on July 19 and the Office of the Child Advocate was notified.
