Rhode Island lawmakers authorized a specialty license plate honoring Dominican heritage, but the DMV has not yet posted an order form or confirmed public availability. The plate would carry a $40 initial surcharge plus regular registration fees.
The Governor of Rhode Island, Dan McKee, signed on Friday in a ceremonial manner legislation authorizing commemorative registrations that honor Dominican heritage, culture and identity.
