- Independent charity Crimestoppers said it has offered a reward of 20,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction, encouraging anonymous tips. Detective Superintendent Grant Hendry said, `'We hope it will encourage anyone with information to come forward.'`
- Investigators have gathered more than 1,200 hours of CCTV and are pursuing leads while the missing firearm remains unrecovered and the person of interest seen shortly after 10.30pm is at large.
- Last week, Michael Groome, speaking for the family, said: `We are here to ask for any information leading to finding out who murdered our son in cold blood` while the family appeals for help, describing their devastation.
- Crimestoppers urged people to come forward anonymously and said the reward is 20,000, available until April 26, 2026, requiring a reward code via 0800 555 111 or crimestoppers-uk.org.
