Controversial Serbian businessman Ranko Mimović has offered the Russian owners of the Serbian oil company NIS two billion euros to buy their majority stake, Reuters reports. However, Russia's Gazprom said it was only in talks with Hungary's MOL about the sale.
A recently founded Serbian company has offered 2 billion euros to Russian companies Gazprom Neft and Gazprom for their joint 56.1 percent stake in NIS, which operates Serbia's only oil refinery, its owner Ranko Mimovic said, adding that the offer was "generally accepted" by NIS's Russian owners.
