Since last year, working seniors have been paying lower social insurance contributions. They are helped by a new discount, which was used by approximately 144,000 people in December - each of them improved their monthly income by approximately three thousand crowns. In most cases, these were employees, but entrepreneurs and tradespeople are also eligible. If they did not apply for the discount during the year, they can apply it retroactively.
