Retailer warns State Police website maintenance could pause firearms sales

(The Center Square) – A firearms retailer is raising alarm over Illinois State Police planning to take down a Firearm Owners ID verification website for maintenance.

The USPTO will perform routine maintenance on the PSIPS user interface beginning at 11 p.m. ET on Monday, May 19 and ending at 5 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 20.  There will be a short outage during the maintenance period.
