The Ministry of Public Education (SEP) reported that the National Council of Educational Authorities (Conaedu) reached a unanimous agreement to regulate the use of cell phones in classrooms starting next month. While in primary and secondary school there is a total restriction during the school day, at the upper and upper middle levels each educational community will build its own rules.
