Gananoque council has directed staff to retain legal counsel in response to a judicial review application filed by Mayor John Beddows against the town and its integrity commissioner.
The leader of the Reform Party, Roshi Bhadain, via a video on his Facebook page yesterday, June 30, announced that 331 former employees of the Government Service Commission (LGSC) have obtained the "leave for judicial review" to challenge their dismissals, which he describes as "illegal and unfair".
