- Authorities expressed significant concern for Ballantyne, who lives with dementia and may be unable to find his way home. He has potentially spent two nights outside in the cold, police said.
- Ballantyne is described as 183cm tall with a medium build and short greying hair. When last seen, he was wearing a navy blue jumper and khaki pants.
- The SES continues searching as police urge Wagin residents to check their backyards, sheds, and vehicles. Officials believe Ballantyne may have sought shelter in the area overnight.
- Anyone with information regarding Ballantyne's whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers immediately. This search remains the primary focus in the Wheatbelt region following his disappearance over the weekend.
