Residents should attend hearings on Lorain County sales tax increase

Lorain County commissioners were right to pass a resolution July 1 to send a proposed sales tax increase to two more public hearings before it can be certified for the Nov. 5 ballot. Additional public hearings on the 0.25 percent sales tax increase will allow more residents to voice their opinions on whether they support or reject it.
