Charleston Gets Outside Help Clearing Downed Trees From July 4 Parade Route, Other Streets

Cleanup crews and city officials are restoring pools, roads and homes after the tornado damaged public facilities and forced the summer season to pause.

Municipal public works crews and tree contractors from a wide area have been helping Charleston clear tornado downed trees from along city streets, including the Fourth of July parade route.
