Ilya Tarasov, a 29-year-old resident of Prizerssk province of Leningrad, was sentenced to 12 years in a strict-security colony on charges of treason (art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), reporting "Mediazona" with reference to the regional court's press service, and the reason for the case was the transfer of $150 to a Ukrainian charitable foundation in February 2022 (at the then rate of approximately 12,500 roubles).
