The Guardia Civil de Cantabria has been investigating a 23-year-old neighbor of Santander as an alleged author of a robbery at a supermarket in San Vicente de la Barquera. This is the ninth time that this year he is being investigated or arrested for similar events in Cantabria and Asturias. Most of the thefts were committed during the summer and mainly the theft of groceries and cosmetics was reported, for a value that exceeded 3,000 euros.
