Requests for new school funding in Illinois likely to outstrip available resources

SB 318 introduces a $250 million reserve and student tracking to resolve funding and fraud issues in Florida's school choice programs, lawmakers said.

The biggest items on the list include a $350 million increase in Evidence-Based Funding, and a $100 million increase for mandatory categorical programs.
