Netherlands is Europe's 2nd largest exporter of AI equipment
After Germany, the Netherlands is the largest European exporter of equipment that enables the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI), credit insurer Atradius said in a new report. Our country accounts for 7 percent of global exports of AI-related goods. The export value of over €80 billion places it in 11th position worldwide.
The Netherlands holds a very prominent position in the global trade of goods needed for the development and application of AI. This is evident from the new report ‘Concentration Risks in the Global AI Supply Chain’ by Atradius. ‘We earn significantly less from that transit,’ says senior economist Theo Smid.
