- On June 9, 2025, the Saskatchewan Roughriders officially added running back Ka’Deem Carey, linebacker Braxton Hill, and offensive lineman Darius Washington to their roster.
- Following a standout 2024 season with the Toronto Argonauts, where he appeared in 18 games and totaled 1,060 rushing yards along with seven touchdowns, Carey has signed with the Roughriders.
- Carey participated in all three playoff contests for the Argonauts, adding 79 yards and a touchdown to help secure their 41-24 championship win against Winnipeg in the 2024 Grey Cup.
- Carey, honored as a three-time Divisional All-Star and a 2022 CFL All-Star, has accumulated 3,915 yards on the ground and scored 26 rushing touchdowns throughout 62 regular season games with Calgary, Toronto, and in the CFL overall.
